During these past two months of quarantine, I've been doing my best to keep shooting while most paid gigs have paused. Yesterday was chicken day. Thanks to a large urban chicken community in West Seattle, I was able to pull this shoot together rather quickly. With a pop up studio in tow, I set up in a neighborhood garage and the chickens were escorted in one at a time. After a few seconds of fame, off they went back into the yard and off I went back to my little studio to bring these shots to life. The post work is my medicine right now. I dive in, allow time to drift and discover ways to make a simple capture something unique. I was smiling a lot working on these, I hope you get a kick out of them too!
